I hope these answer any questions you may have, but if not, feel free to reach out to me below.
What is an Online Business Manager?
An Online Business Manager (OBM) offers remote project management, operational support, and administrative services to consultants and businesses.
Typically, these tasks are carried out from their home office or a coworking space.
Can we first discuss what I need before comitting to any hours or packages?
Certainly, I offer a complimentary 30-minute Discovery Call. During this call, I’ll gather information about your challenges, business objectives, and priorities.
This will help me determine the level of support you need and whether we’re a good fit.
How can I trust you with my business?
Protecting my clients’ privacy is of utmost importance to me.
I am insured with PolicyBee (Hiscox) for Professional Indemnity and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for GDPR compliance (Reg C1139215).
My terms and conditions, along with confidentiality provisions in the contract, ensure your complete protection.
Do you work with other experts to help my business?
If there are business functions or specific tasks that fall beyond my expertise, I can collaborate with specialised professionals and manage their day-to-day interactions.
Will I need to provide training?
Like any new partnership, I’ll require some time to familiarise myself with your company and operations. My aim is to streamline your workload so you can focus on your priorities. If I require training on specific software, I’m open to learning.
How do I work with you?
Communication preferences are entirely up to you. Whether it’s via email, phone calls, or messages, I’m available during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM; if you contact me outside of these hours, I will get back to you as soon as I am available. Urgent matters outside of these hours are subject to availability and will incur extra costs.
How do I keep cost for Adhoc work under control?
The more clear and transparent you are, the more efficiently I can use my time, and the faster I get, the more I can do.
Clients typically prefer retainers or custom packages with fixed prices to avoid unexpected costs. Ad hoc services are usually reserved for urgent projects not covered by a retainer or custom package.
What happens if I have urgent/ out of hours work with tight deadlines?
Urgent work outside of Monday – Friday, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM, is subject to availability and is at £65 per hour. Before beginning work, I will discuss the timeline and budget.
What happens if I do not use all my hours in the monthly retainer?
Your retainer has secured my time for your business that cannot be used for my other clients. Retainer hours do not carry over to the following month, so it’s essential to utilize them within the agreed period. We’ll establish a plan with regular catch-ups and reviews to ensure efficient use of time.
What happens if I need more hours than the agreed retainer?
I will try to accommodate you if you require additional hours than we initially projected. Please note that this will depend on the number of other clients I am working with and the available hours I have during that period.
Do you go onnsite or to my offices.?
Regarding on-site visits, I can travel to your office or location as needed, with travel time and expenses invoiced at cost.
